Outgrown play sets, trampolines and playhouses taken apart and hauled away, leaving only a patch of lawn to reseed.
Kids grow up and the backyard gear stays behind. Wooden play sets, metal swing sets, trampolines, playhouses and basketball hoops take up space and become a hazard when they age. We take them down and haul them away.
We dismantle wooden play sets by unbolting sections, take metal frames apart at the joints and fold and carry trampoline frames, springs and nets. Metal is recycled, and wood goes to proper disposal. Anchors and footings are removed so the lawn is safe to mow.
Large wooden play sets can be complicated, with slides, rock walls and platforms. We take them apart in reverse order of assembly and keep fasteners together for safe disposal.
The springs hold tension, and we take them off carefully. Frames, nets and mats are folded and loaded. Pads and covers go with the rest.
The ground under a play set is usually bare or compacted. We fill post holes, rake the area and suggest reseeding after removal.
We keep kids and pets away during removal because springs and frames are under tension. Plan for them to be inside while we work. If the yard is being turned into something new, such as a garden, a patio or a fire pit, tell us the plan and we will leave the area ready for it, with holes filled and the surface raked level.
