How Junk Removal Works: What to Expect From Call to Cleanup

A plain walk-through of the process, from booking to the final sweep.

Booking and the first quote

Call, text or use a form. Tell us what you have, where it is and any deadline. Photos help us give a better range. We confirm a time window and the crew size.

The arrival and walk-through

The crew arrives, introduces themselves and walks the job with you. You point to what is going and what is staying. They confirm the scope and give a firm price before any work starts.

Loading

Crew members carry items out, protect doors and floors and load the truck in an order that keeps materials separate. You do not need to lift anything.

Sorting and where it goes

Usable items go to donation partners, metal and electronics to recyclers and the rest to the proper disposal site. Ask us for a summary of where things went.

The final sweep and payment

We sweep the work area and do a last walk-through. Payment is after the work is done, and you receive a receipt.

What you can do to help

Point out what is staying, clear a path to the door, move valuables and tell us about anything fragile or hazardous. A little preparation saves time and money.

Our advice in one sentence

Give us photos and a deadline, and agree the price before the first item is lifted.

Questions

Quick answers.

Do I need to be home?

For most jobs it helps for the walk-through. For outdoor piles, not always.

How long does a job take?

Many take an hour or two. Large cleanouts take a day or more.

What if I change my mind about an item?

Tell the crew before they load it. We adjust the price accordingly.
