Old carpet, padding, laminate, tile and hardwood pulled up, rolled and hauled out so the new floor can go in.
New floors start with clearing the old ones. Carpet and padding are bulky, flooring is heavy and tile is a rough demolition job. We pull up old floors and haul everything away so your installer arrives to a bare, clean subfloor.
We remove carpet and pad, tack strips, laminate, vinyl, engineered wood and hardwood and, for tile, we handle the demolition and the haul. We roll carpet neatly for a clean carry-out and sweep up the staples, nails and dust that remain.
Carpet is cut into strips, rolled and carried out, with the pad and tack strips. We pull staples and bring a vacuum for fine debris so the subfloor is ready for the new floor.
Laminate, vinyl and engineered wood come up in sections. Tile and thinset are more labor, and we plan time and hauling capacity for the weight.
We schedule around your flooring crew so the old floor leaves before the new one arrives. Ask your installer whether they handle tear-out so you do not pay for it twice.
Once carpet is up, you may find stains, damp spots or damage. We tell you what we see so you can decide whether to repair before the new floor goes in.
